Sometimes, if I have the TV on during the day, I’m amused and worried because Norah cannot. look. away. I try to pick my spots, but I will fully admit plopping her down on her mat and turning on a show just to finish whatever I was doing (talking 5-10 minutes here.) What kind of rot am I putting into her brain at such a young age?
But then I turn on our overhead fan and she’s just as mesmerized. So… maybe next time I’ll just turn on the fan?

Plop her down in front of Sesame Street and she’ll learn Spanish in no time. Seriously. My little cousins know more spanish than I do, and I’ve taken 3 Spanish classes in the past. Darn Elmo.
