169/366 – Two Years Today

Two years ago today, my niece was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. That girl is 10 going on 27 – she rocks it. But it’s still a ton of work for her, and today we all wore sites in her honor – something she has to wear 24/7 and is usually connected to her pump which delivers insulin in two-minute intervals.

Not only did she get to practice putting in sites (so she’ll be able to do it on herself), she also enjoyed watching others be the pin cushions for once. :)
